Ronnie Schindel is co-chair of Pryor Cashman’s Family Law Group and is widely regarded as one of New York’s most respected Family Law attorneys.
Though generally recognized for both his courtroom expertise and out of court negotiation skills, above all, he has earned a reputation as a tireless advocate for his clients with absolute integrity. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the foremost family law professional organization in the country, and is the immediate past President of the New York chapter.
Since his admission to practice law in New York in 1994, Ronnie has practiced exclusively in the area of matrimonial law. Throughout his lengthy career, Ronnie’s clientele has included some of the most successful individuals in the worlds of finance, business, law, real estate, and entertainment. In particular, his extensive experience with matters involving hedge funds, private equity, real estate development, and financing, as well as many other aspects of the financial services industry makes him uniquely qualified to handle the most sophisticated of matters.
Ronnie has appeared on Worth Magazine’s list of the top 100 attorneys in the United States and has been recognized by his peers for many years through his listing in New York Super Lawyers (Law & Politics) and many other attorney ratings organizations. His career has been marked by many notable achievements, including the successful prosecution of a landmark case regarding prenuptial agreements, which he argued in the New York Court of Appeals at the age of 32.
Ronnie is a faculty member at the National Family Law Trial Institute, a peer educational organization well known for its rigorous program dedicated to honing the trial skills of divorce lawyers from all over the United States. He also sits, by appointment, on the Executive Committee for the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and has acted as one of their representatives to the State Bar House of Delegates. He has also served a term on the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Ronnie is a frequent lecturer and panelist on family law issues on behalf of the New York State Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Ronnie resides on Long Island with his wife, Ann, and their two boys.
