Alyssa Eisner is the senior partner of Sager Gellerman Eisner PLLC and devotes her practice entirely to New York family and matrimonial law, including matters involving divorce, equitable distribution, custody, visitation, relocation, sexual abuse allegations, support, domestic offenses, jurisdictional issues and matrimonial and family law appellate practice. Alyssa is often hired as trial counsel for highly complex and contested matrimonial and family law matters.
Alyssa is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and sits on the Board of Managers. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section and the District Representative for the 11th Judicial District. She is a member of the Attorneys for Children/Assigned Counsel Advisory Committee for the 2nd, 11th and 13th Judicial Districts. She is also a member of several local bar associations including the Queens County Bar Association, Family Law Section, Nassau County Bar Association, Matrimonial Committee, Queens County Women’s Bar Association and the Matrimonial Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
She has been called upon to lecture on various issues in the fields of family and matrimonial law for various bar associations and the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Alyssa also taught business law to undergraduate students at Iona College.
Alyssa has been awarded the New York Super Lawyer “Rising Star” early in her career as well as being named a New York Metro Super Lawyer in since 2014 and each year thereafter. Since 2017, she has also been named one of the top 50 women attorneys and top 100 lawyers in the New York Metro area.
